Dunort Cashew Apple is a reddish-yellow cashew fruit in various shapes with an average weight of 100g.

Dunort Cashew Apple is sweeter and less "astringent" (tannin) than other types of cashew apple, although it has not the appearance and the special flavor of Gaia cashew apple. They are other variants, fruits from premature dwarf cashew trees, which have less tannin and more sugar than the conventional cashew fruit.
